There are two ways to clean upholstery:

Wet or dry.

While we use HWE (hot water extraction) to clean some upholstery, we do often employ a dry method in most cases. This is our preferred method because it’s easier on the fabric, removes stains and streaks for good and dries faster. Much faster.
